Prior to entering medical school as a member of UCLA Geffen School of Medicine’s Class of 2019, Jeremy was involved in UCLA Mobile Clinic and Bruin Partners, a tutoring and mentoring program, as an undergraduate and taught high school math at the Navajo Reservation in Arizona through Teach for America for two years.  In the summer of 2016, he participated in the Center’s Ethnographic Summer Project to learn more about the lives of the homeless mentally ill in LA and the services available to them.
