Dr Charlotte Neary-Bremer trained as a physician in the UK where she worked in a busy Pediatric Emergency Department in South London.  She co-founded StreetDoctors a national charity in the UK teaching young people impacted by the criminal justice system life-saving first aid skills.  Charlotte moved to the States to complete a Masters in Medical Anthropology at Harvard.  She joined the collaborative ethnographic team at UCLA Centre for History and Social Medicine in January 2017.
