Simone Schriger

Simone Schriger received her BA in psychology from Bates College in 2014, where she conducted an honors thesis on dating violence in Chile. She spent the following year as a Watson Fellow conducting ethnographic research on corporal donation in Malawi, South Africa, and India.  Simone then worked as a Research Coordinator in Rwanda and Uganda for a year, where she served as a liaison between local staff and researchers in the US.  After returning to the States in 2016, Simone volunteered as a Spanish translator at Venice Family Clinic and as a Jails Project Intern at the ACLU.  Simone joined the UCLA AOT team as an ethnographer, and has participated in fieldwork in several capacities, including visiting provider sites, attending mental health court, and shadowing O&E and PMRT teams.
