Jack Fukushima graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 with a BA in Public Health. Afterwards he worked for the UCSF HEAL Initiative before being awarded a Fulbright scholarship to conduct research on childhood malnutrition and intersectoral collaboration in Madhya Pradesh, India. Before coming to the MSTP Social Sciences Track at UCLA, he worked for UCSF in partnership with the Latino Task Force in San Francisco on COVID testing and vaccination projects.
