Prior to entering medical school as a member of UCLA’s Class of 2019, Jennifer volunteered as a Physician’s Assistant at Homeless Healthcare Los Angeles, as a medical scribe for Doctors Without Walls Santa Barbara Street Medicine, and as a shadow assistant to Dr. Susan Partovi at the Skid Row Center for Harm Reduction in LA.  As a first-year medical student, she was a medical coordinator of UCLA’s Mobile Clinic.  In the summer of 2016, she participated in the Center’s Ethnographic Summer Project to learn more about the lives of the homeless mentally ill in LA and the services available to them.
